Dear MYO Parent/Guardian,
Our MYO group is preparing for another eventful season of Faith Formation, Social Outings, and Community Service activities. Over the past couple of years, our organization has grown to be one of the largest and most active groups in the Eparchy of St. Maron. We are up to 35 high-school aged members and continuing to see new faces with each event! This letter serves to give you a little more detail as to the organization your son/daughter is taking part in and the events that will be taking place over the next several months.
Without your continued prayers and support as the members’ parents and guardians, your continued sacrifice to provide transportation to/from activities, and your continued commitment to encourage your son/daughter to participate in these events, our parish’s youth organization would not be as successful as it is today.

We pray that you continue with your commitment to help us by encouraging your son/daughter to follow through with the commitments they make and if they cannot attend an event or volunteer activity they previously agreed to, to notify one of their MYO Advisors so that we can properly plan.
By working together, we can continue to gather and engage our youth to accomplish the following Eparchial goals of the MYO:

• To develop our faith in Jesus…
• To reach out in service to others…in the parish and wider community.
• To live and learn our Maronite Catholic faith and traditions…
• To have fun and grow as a parish family…

This season, we will be focusing our events on Faith Formation with a focus on: Understanding the Bible and Social Issue/Morality. All events will run 5:30pm-7:30pm in the Church, unless otherwise indicated. We are charging a minimal registration fee of $25 to assist in covering the expenses for our standing events.

I further expressly release and waive Father Elie Mikhael, his designated representative, Saint Anthony Maronite Church, and the Eparchy of St. Maron of Brooklyn, from any liability, action, claim, or cause of action which I might otherwise have in the event of illness or injury during the period that (Name)is attending the MYO events.

AUDIO VISUAL TAPING AND PHOTOGRAPHY CONSENT: On occasion, videotape, audio tape, slides, and photographs are taken of children and youth during church and diocesan-sponsored activities. These are utilized in newsletters, websites, event promotions, advertisements, and other printed media.

I release the staff and volunteers of St Anthony Maronite Church and the Eparchy of St Maron of Brook- lyn, NY from any liability connected with the use of my child's pictures or voice recording as part of any of the above or similar activities.
